How Social Muse works
Eight steps from your first login to your first leads.
Step 1: Create your account
Sign up, start your free trial and create a workspace for your brand or client.
Step 2: Connect your platforms
Link your social accounts through each platform's official sign-in; your passwords are never shared with us.
Step 3: Add your brand
Tell the AI your audience, tone and offers; it remembers them for every post.
Step 4: Create or upload content
Write a post, upload images and videos, or start from one of the ready-made templates.
Step 5: Let AI assist
Get captions, hashtags and a version for each platform, then edit anything you like.
Step 6: Review and approve
Editors send posts for approval; managers or owners approve them before anything goes live.
Step 7: Schedule and publish
Pick the best time on the calendar; posts go out on their own, even when you are offline.
Step 8: Follow leads and results
Answer hot leads first, see which posts perform and let the results shape your next week.
How the Grow tools work together
Use them in this order to find what your audience wants, post it, see what worked and turn followers into customers.
The loop: Research → write better posts → publish → Analytics shows what worked → AI memory learns it → better posts next time. Replies and messages from your posts become Leads.
1. Research
Looks at what people ask about your topic on Google, Reddit, YouTube and your own accounts: frequent and unanswered questions, pain points, the words customers use, and scored topic ideas with angles.
How it helps: you stop guessing what to post and start from topics people already search for.
How to use it
- Press "Start research" at the top right.
- Type a topic your customers care about (for example "home workouts for beginners").
- Pick the competitors to include and the sources to search (Google, Reddit, YouTube, your own accounts).
- Start it. It runs in the background; the list shows each step and turns Finished when done.
- Open "See results" to read the findings and send a topic idea straight to Content.
What you get: The questions people ask most and the ones nobody answers well, their problems in their own words, and a list of topic ideas scored by demand and competition, each with a suggested angle.
2. Competitors
Compares you with the competitors you add: where and how often they post, the keywords they rank for, what works for them, and the gaps they leave.
How it helps: you copy what already works in your market and fill the gaps others leave.
How to use it
- Press "Add competitor" at the top right.
- Enter their name and website, then add their social accounts one by one with "Add more".
- Save, then open the competitor and press "Analyse".
- When the analysis finishes, read the comparison: their posting, keywords, strengths and weaknesses next to yours.
- Repeat for 2 to 5 competitors so the comparison shows a clear pattern.
What you get: A side-by-side view of where each competitor posts and how often, their followers and engagement, the keywords they rank for, their best content, and the opportunities they leave open for you.
3. SEO
Checks your website: problems to fix, health, keyword opportunities and content ideas, plus backlinks (who links to you and new link chances).
How it helps: your website and posts show up in Google, bringing visitors without paying for ads.
How to use it
- Press "Add website" at the top right and enter your website address.
- Open the website and press "Run SEO audit": it checks your pages for problems.
- Under "Research keywords", type a topic (and optional starting keywords) to find search terms worth targeting.
- Open each report to see what to fix first and which keywords and content ideas to use.
- Run the audit again after fixing things to see your score improve.
What you get: A health score for your website, a prioritised list of problems to fix, keywords with search demand you can win, content ideas built on them, and your backlinks with new link chances.
4. Analytics
Shows your own numbers from connected accounts: what was published, reach, views, clicks, engagement, your top posts and leads by temperature.
How it helps: you see which platforms and posts work, and stop spending time on what doesn't.
How to use it
- Connect your social accounts in Connected platforms (Analytics reads from them).
- Publish posts from Content as usual.
- Open Analytics and choose the period (this week, this month or your own dates).
- Compare platforms and look at your top posts: note what they have in common (topic, format, time).
- Make more posts like your best ones and fewer like your weakest.
What you get: For the chosen period: how many posts went out, reach, views, clicks and engagement per platform, your best-performing posts, and how many leads came in by temperature.
5. Leads
Reads comments, messages and interactions on your connected accounts and scores each person Hot, Warm or Cold from buying signals.
How it helps: you answer the people most likely to buy first, instead of scrolling through every comment.
How to use it
- Connect your accounts: comments, messages and replies from them come in as leads automatically.
- Add someone by hand with "Add lead" at the top right if they reached you another way.
- Each lead is scored Hot, Warm or Cold from buying signals (questions about price, "how do I buy", repeat interest).
- Filter by Hot first, open the lead, read their history and reply or mark their status.
- Managers can tune the words and points in "Scoring rules" to match your business.
What you get: One list of everyone who showed interest, each with a Hot/Warm/Cold score and the reason, their platform and history, so you can follow up with the right people at the right time.
6. AI memory
Keeps what the AI knows about your workspace: brand voice, preferences, past posts, and what worked for you (applied after about 10 posts per platform).
How it helps: every new caption sounds like you and uses what already worked, so results improve over time.
How to use it
- Open AI memory and switch it on.
- Add facts the AI should always know: what you sell, your tone of voice, words to use or avoid, your audience.
- Write and publish posts as usual: after about 10 posts on a platform, it also learns what worked best there.
- Check the list now and then: edit or delete anything that is out of date.
- Every AI suggestion in Content then follows these facts automatically.
What you get: AI captions, rewrites and ideas that sound like your brand from the first draft, fewer edits, and suggestions that lean on what already performed well for you.
